Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, Ward 4 Alderman Walter Pero, and Ward 1 Alderman William Roche invite all interested residents and stakeholders to attend a Community Meeting to discuss the 2008 update of the City's Open Space & Recreation Plan. The Plan is required to be updated every five years by the State Division of Conservation Services, to be eligible for certain open space and recreation grant programs. A community meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30 p.m. at the Elizabeth Peabody House, 277 Broadway, to discuss the current plan and the planning process for its revision in 2008. This is the second of three community meetings to promote public participation in the Plan. All are welcome.
